Continually strives to make the best use of time during assigned shift through careful coordination of daily tasks.<br/>2. Remains abreast of new procedures, equipment and methods along with participation in their evaluation and application.<br/>3. Performs procedure per established protocols and procedures.  Consults with Radiologists for any clinical deviations concerning patient care/exam protocol needs.<br/>4. Assesses patient prior to exams requiring the administration of contrast media and records all pertinent information to include, but not limited to, medical history, vital signs and contraindications.<br/>5. Obtains all necessary signatures or direct physician authorizations on the informed consent documents for all examinations utilizing the administration of contrast media.<br/>6. Coordinates transportation of the patient from the nursing floor to the department and ensures the availability of applicable support personnel (nursing, respiratory, anesthesiology, physician) in order to expedite the procedure.<br/>Minimum Qualifications:<br/>Education High School graduate or equivalent.
